Frontline 2/10

What we covered tonight:
Tonight we talked once again about the importance of liturgy in our worship.  It informs the way we move from one thing to the next.  So, from now on, we will be having a time of confession, assurance of forgivness/pardon, prayer, worship, and teaching with our closing at the end.  I hope you enjoy it!

We also covered the story of Ruth tonight.  God continues his habit of using people that are not the most obvious choice.  In a culture very different from ours today, God chooses a woman, a widow, and a foreigner.  All three of these make Ruth an unlikely choice!!  However, God's plan are higher than ours and we see a beautiful story of God's grace, faithfulness, and love through the book of Ruth.  Thanks for your great participation tonight, and I look forward to next week!

As far as I know, at noon tomorrow, a group of people are getting together for pizza ranch at 12:00 noon to be followed by playing games/cards in the ARC.  Please shoot out a text to let people know. You can call me at 616-594-6144 if you need a ride.
